  • Absolutely, the best beach in the whole world! One of God's wonderful creation. Pls. help in the conservation and protection of this island. It's the only beach that comes across my dream nothing else. Boracay is trying to say,"you'll be back and see u soon".
  • damn! but this resort is for only rich people. tsk tsk
  • Save Boracay!
  • Nice To See Girl-Watching Here!
  • Total tourist trap. Overrun by rude Koreans. That said it is a national treasure for the Philippines, if we can just figure out a way to keep the foreigners out hehe.
  • Boracay :)))))))))))
  • this is a true story my friend. im from negros, i stayed in boracay for a week, bringing only PHP 800.00 as in. after a week i went home, and to find out i still have PHP 23.00 left in my pocket. how did i do it.? i told my self. i am going to boracay, not because of the food, & amenities. but its about the adventure. not about food because, you eat it and burn it anyway, not about amenities because you can find it in the comfort of your home. i'm going there because of the nature & adventure. to get there i took a roro from negros to iloilo. then the cheapest bus to caticlan. boat to the island drop off at station 1. there is a secret spot there to camp in a tent. with a water source. for 1 week i ate egg, sardines, noodles & rice. 3 times a day.. yeah.. i said to my self.. after that long agony on the road. i finaly reached my destination. & it was good. dreams fulfilled.
  • My wife and I went to Boracay for our 4days 3nights honeymoon/birthday celebration. It's our first time to go to Boracay. Dami nagsasabi madumi na pero it's not true. Sobrang friendly ng mga Aklanon lagi sila nakangiti at willing tumulong if you need them. You can find everything in Boracay from a beachfront ATM machine to wet markets. I will definitely go back to Boracay!
  • Boracay today is not even close to what it was in the late 80s and early 90s. No major hotels save for a few mom n pop establishments making it a bit more rustic in ambience. One need not even worry of the heavy influx of tourism since most who flocked to these powdery white shores were regular guests of the locals. It felt more "private" so to speak. To sum it all up, one would feel like it was "your" island back then. Peaceful, serene and non-commercial. Dahican Beach in Mati is sure to follow Boracay in terms of commercialism and overcrowding. I just hope the local government will do a better job this time.
  • I stayed in the Nigi Nigi hotel on Boracay and I have to say that my trip to Boracay was the best vacations ever! The water was beautiful, the food and nightlife was great and my girlfriend and I simply had the time of our lives. I hope the locals and the Philippine government take heed when I say that they need to protect this jewel with everything in their souls. Dont let corrupt corporations build extended runways or ruin the beach with huge hotels. Bringing in thousands upon thousands of tourists will only destroy this diamond hideaway. Keep Boracay pristine and beautiful for the Filipino people. If you let foreign lawyers and corporations and banks build there the island will end up being another hide-away that only the rich can afford to enjoy. The KISS principle fits here; keep it simple stupid! Boracay was one of the most beautiful places I've visited in all my travels. I hope it stays that way for all time.....its an amazing place.
  • too many koreans everywhere in Boracay...
  • I spend time with my family here in Boracay several times. There are many celebrities there and also many foreigners going anywhere in Boracay. That's why I always love Boracay because it's beautiful places and several restaurants, hotels, shoppings and so on. It's more fun in the Philippines!
  • I love this island but please do not bring everything what we have in Manila. You already have Andoks Lecheon Manok, Shakey's Pizza, Pier One, etc. You name it. And stop those disco music. It would be better if I hear Smooth Jazz music. I'll rather go back to Manila if you have it in Boracay. WE WANT TO HAVE A RELAXING ATMOSPHERE. AN ISLAND SETTING. OK?
