3 Easy Ways to Pay for Your PLDT Bill

PLDT Home’s website was down for maintenance so I had to find other ways to pay my bills. Of course I knew there were other ways to settle my dues but since I was so used to paying directly using the official PLDT Home website, I had to do a little bit of research on how I can easily pay my bills without having to download additional mobile apps.

Tita vs. Tech? I definitely nailed it!

This experience was very recent so I wanted to share just in case some of you didn’t know these payment channels.

What payment options do I have?

PLDT Home has thousands of authorized payment channels nationwide such as alternative payment centers, banks (internet, mobile banking and over-the-counter), Smart Money or E-Wallets. Here are some of the most convenient payment options:

#1 PAY VIA smart money or e-wallets
📲 PAYEXPRESS

How to pay via Pay Express:

  1. Scan the QR code on your billing statement. This can be found on any of your previous paper bills or on the PDF copy we sent to your email address.
  2. Provide your 10-digit account number.
  3. Enter the amount and preferred payment method.
  4. Confirm payment to finish your transaction.
📲 MAYA

How to pay via Maya:

  1. Open the Maya App and log in to your account.
  2. Tap “Bills” in the home screen.
  3. Select Telecoms and choose PLDT Home / Ultera from the list of billers.
  4. Enter the required details (account or reference number) and the amount to be paid.
  5. Review and confirm your payment details, then click “Pay”.
  6. Wait for your SMS payment confirmation from Maya.

Note: Payment posting time is within six (6) hours for transactions made before 7:00 PM.

📲 GCASH

How to pay via GCash:

  1. Log-in to your GCash App.
  2. Choose Pay Bills and select Telecoms, look for PLDT DSL / PLDT Landline.
  3. Provide your 10-digit account number, telephone number starting with the area code, amount and e-mail address.
  4. Select “Next” and Confirm your payment.
  5. A payment confirmation will appear and you will also receive the payment confirmation to the e-mail address you provided.

Note: Payment posting time is within six (6) hours for transactions made before 7:00 PM.

📲 GRABPAY

How to pay via GCash:

  1. Choose “Bills” from the homepage.
  2. Select “PLDT”. If your account has a landline service choose “PLDT Landline”, or “PLDT DSL” if your account has both internet and landline services.
  3. Provide your 10-digit account number, your telephone number and the amount to pay then tap confirm.
  4. Click “Pay” to continue and wait for GrabPay’s status confirmation as “Successful”.

Note: Payment posting time is within six (6) hours for transactions made before 7:00 PM. GrabPay may charge an administrative fee in addition to the amount of the bill payable.

#2 Pay VIA online shopping platforms
📲 Shopee

Easy to follow steps to pay your bills through Shopee:

  1. Choose “Load & Bills” from the homepage.
  2. Choose “Landline & Internet” then select “PLDT”.
  3. Provide your 10-digit account number and telephone number, and the amount to pay.
  4. Select the preferred payment method then tap “Pay”.
  5. Wait for your payment confirmation from Shopee.

Note: Payment posting time is within six (6) hours for transactions made before 7:00 PM.

📲 Lazada
  1. Choose “Load, Bills & eCoupon” from the homepage then select “Pay Bills“.
  2. Choose “Telecommunications” then select “PLDT“.
  3. Provide your 10-digit account number and telephone number, and the amount to pay.
  4. Select “Service” then choose “PLDT Landline” if your account has landline service only, or “PLDT DSL/ PLDT Fibr” if your account has both internet and landline services.
  5. Select the preferred payment method then tap “Place Order“.
  6. Wait for your payment confirmation from Lazada.

Note: Payment posting time is within six (6) hours for transactions made before 7:00 PM.

#3 Pay VIA bank PARTNERS (internet, mobile or over-the-counter)
📲 BPI
  1. Log-in to BPI Online at online.bpi.com.ph or the BPI Mobile app.
  2. Click “Payments/Load” then click “Pay Bills“.
  3. Fill up the required details. Remember to select “PLDT” in the Pay To drop down list.
  4. A 6-digit One-Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to proceed with the payment.
  5. A confirmation message will appear after you have successfully completed your transaction.

Note: Payment posting time is within two (2) banking days.

📲 UnionBank of the Philippines
  1. Visit Unionbank Online at unionbank.com.ph.
  2. Log in to your UnionBank Online account
  3. Click on “Pay Bills“.
  4. Select “Biller” and choose your personal Union Bank account from the list.
  5. Click “Manage Payment“. Select “PLDT” from the Biller List and enter your account and landline number.
  6. Review the payment details and click submit to complete your transaction.

Note: Payment posting time is within two (2) banking days.

📲 Metrobank
  1. Visit Metrobank Direct at personal.metrobankdirect.com.
  2. Log in to your Metrobank online account.
  3. Select “Pay Bills“.
  4. Under Special Biller, fill out the following fields:
    • Category: Choose Telco
    • Biller: Choose PLDT
    • Subscriber/Account No: Enter PLDT account number
    • Reference No: Enter the Statement of Account No (SOA No) which is printed on the bill
    • Phone No: Enter your PLDT Telephone No. (including area code)
  5. Under Select Account To Debit: Choose the Metrobank account you will use for the transaction.
  6. Enter the payment amount.
  7. Select “Immediate” for the payment schedule. Then click “Continue“.
  8. After successfully completing the transaction, you will receive a transaction acknowledgment which will serve as your receipt. This will also be sent to your registered email.

How can I check my bill?

PLDT Home sends your billing subscription monthly to your registered e-mail address. But for reasons where you accidentally deleted the e-mail message or you cannot access your email to check your amount due, you can do this instead.

Create a new message, type PLDTHOMEBILL and send it to 0970 0000 171. This is open to all networks and free for Smart, TNT, Globe and TM. Smart and TNT customers may also send PLDTHOMEBILL to 8171 for free.

How soon will my payment reflect?

I really depends on the payment channel that you choose, it could reflect within 30 minutes – 6 hours, some even a day or two. Do note that payment centers have cut off time.
