Singer and Actress Kim Molina could not help but fan girl over her long-time role model Asia's Songbird and The Queen of Pop Regine Velasquez who attended her theater musical.
In a Twitter post on Sunday, Kim shared a video during the closing stage of Carlo Vergara's "Zsazsa Zaturnnah The Musical... Yun Lang!" wherein she was seen getting emotional after seeing Regine in the crowd.
"WAAAHHH ETO NA NGAAA!!! So bale may hindi nakatiis kanina sa curtain call 😂 Ang superhero niyong fangirl 😂 NANOOD SIYAAA! Thank you ate @reginevalcasid !!! Love you always! 🥹💖🫶 #ZsazsaZaturnnahTheMusical #ZsazsaZaturnnah2023," she captioned in the post.
The 31-year-old singer took the opportunity to take a photo with Regine.
In a television interview last January, Kim shared that she looked up to Asia's songbird since she was a child which is why he gets emotional whenever she sees her in person.
She recalled that his father would always make Regine as an example during their vocal lessons.
"Sobrang insipiration ko siya. Naalala ko noong bata ako, kapag tinuturuan ako ni Daddy, lagi kaming magkaaway ni daddy..... Gusto niya na magets ko 'yung kakantahin niyo [Regine]," Kim said.
The last show of "Zsazsa Zaturnnah The Musical... Yun Lang!" was staged last April 2 at the Doreen Fernandez Black Box Theater, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.
This was Kim's second lead theater role following the Pinoy musical "Rak of Aegis" in June 2014 wherein she portrayed the character of Aileen.
