This outrage the price you charge me for front brakes i could get extend warranty
you charge me $1970 after discount you should be shamed of yourself and how you charge people.
the breaks are making noises too, horrible experience i will not comeback to the dealer again.
the parts not even worth $100.00 that's shoe me that you are greedy company no more than that, there is no reason to ripoff your loyal costumers,
it's disappointing experience i will be sure tom place this review everywhere and people should be a ware from your company i was there last weekend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charlie C.Los Angeles, CA400217102Jan 3, 2019
This review is solely for getting my BMW yearly service at this location - I purchased my BMW elsewhere!
If you're looking to get your car serviced for the yearly maintenance that comes with the car, then I think it's a great place to go! They do have loaner cars here, but you'll need to schedule ahead of time to reserve one. If you're tight on time and need servicing ASAP, then I don't think they'll have loaner cars available. I had to schedule my appointment about 3 weeks in advance in order to secure a loaner. They ended up giving me an X1 which was fine considering I drive a 330i.
Keep in mind they make you sign a form saying you are limited to 50 miles per day, and each additional mile is $1. And you must return the car within 24 hours of being notified that the service is complete. I was confused because this information contradicted the other agreement they make you sign, but who knows. I drove a little over the limit and they didn't charge me. So I suggest clarifying this with them.
They'll also wash your car (inside and out) which was very nicely done. They also said they would fill up my tank, but they didn't, which was sort of a bummer. No biggie but was surprised to see my tank still half full when I got the car.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - giridhar h.Deerfield, IL9019Jan 5, 2021
Very bad experience. Not at all customer friendly. BMW sent me a letter that they can replace my coolant, but these guys would not honor the letter.

Talk about terrible managing. Was coming in there to straight up buy the car off the lot, and it didn't happen. The sales person, Carmen, was amazing! The only reason why the dealership doesn't have a one-star from me. Enlisted my car had an extremely low price, well below market value. They didn't negotiate at all. I know the sales person wanted me to get the deal, but her manager wouldn't negotiate at all. I definitely wouldn't recommend trying to come here to buy any kind of vehicle.

I don't write a lot of reviews, and this is my first negative one. But I have to share my experience with this terrible, terrible dealership. I've had several interactions with them, over many years, and several cars - practically all of them have been negative. Here are few highlights:
1. A few years ago, I came here to buy a new car. A salesman walked me to the lot to show me their inventory. About 5 minutes in, he got a phone call, and told me had to leave, explaining they had a customer interested in buying an Alpina. I later found out this was an expensive, custom car, which of course didn't make me feel any better at all.
2. A few months ago, I was having problems with a brand new car. Since Santa Monica is the closest dealer to us, I dropped it off there for service. After 3 days, they told me they identified the problem but couldn't figure out how to fix it. At that point, I picked up the car and drove it straight to Rusnak BMW in Westlake (where I purchased it). They gave me a loaner, were extremely apologetic and gracious, and had it fixed in a day.
3. Just this morning, I came to drop off my car for service - it's still a brand new 2018 car and the airbag warning light had come on. The service advisor told me they only had two technicians trained to look at hybrid cars, and so they wouldn't be able to check it out until the morning. I then asked if I could drop it off in the morning, and he told me I would lose my place in line. He then asked where I bought the car and advised me to take it there because "I bet they gave you a good deal and can probably get you a loaner." Great, thanks.
Please avoid the mistake I made - don't come here to buy or service your car because it's nearby. Drive the extra 30 minutes to Rusnak BMW in Thousand Oaks. They're extremely considerate, responsive, and work hard for your long-term business. Just look at their reviews vs the ones here. And if anyone from BMW corporate is reading this" Santa Monica BMW is a huge negative mark on your reputation.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I took my 2012 BMW here for the air bag recall / replacement.
First of all, I had trouble finding the service building (not sales, which is on the right hand side as you turn north off of Santa Monica blvd - you want to go to your left). Once I did, I was shocked at how much the repairs team tried to upsell me. I had just gotten the car serviced at Armandos European Automotive in Santa Monica, and was surprised to hear that my BMW apparently had an oil casket leak and a slew of other issues. I didn't buy it, and the car's been working fine ever since (thanks to Armando!).Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Joe is garbage.
When I asked to test drive a car his response was "what's the point? I joy ride Mcclaren's"
Don't waste your time going here if you even want a reasonable price on a bmw... you'll be lucky to just avoid having a conversation with this incredibly condescending "salesman" and his negative energy.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

The service department experience was terrible. I've been to other locations and received wonderful service so I was expecting the same from Santa Monica BMW. They checked me in almost a half an hour past my appointment time. The Uber they ordered for me was ordered for the wrong location. I tried contacting me service advisor Manford Guzman multiple times and left him a message and he never called me back. I will not be returning to this location for service anymore.

AVOID THE SERVICE CENTER AT ALL COSTS. They quoted me $600 for a simple headlight bulb replacement on my 2006 330i. You're telling me $600 for that!?! Hell no. Never walked out of service center so quick in my life. Never coming back and I'd advise to stay away from these scammers!

My second visit was much better. Sales team helped me to find the right part and even hold it for me till I picked it up. They were very helpful and professional this time. I recommend this dealer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 14, 2019Previous reviewRecommend!
