Dive into Manila's Shopping Paradise: SM Mall of Asia

Forget just shopping! SM Mall of Asia offers a world of indulgence. Browse high-end fashion or hidden gems in local boutiques. After, tantalize your taste buds with diverse dining options, from casual cafes to fine dining.

Feeling playful? Explore entertainment venues or unwind with recreational activities. SM Mall of Asia offers a world of indulgence, with high-end fashion, local gems, diverse dining options, and entertainment for all.

It's a shopper's paradise and a leisure destination rolled into one. But before you envision a stress-free day, there's one crucial detail to consider: parking.

Navigating the vast selection of stores and activities is a breeze thanks to the mall's spacious layout. However, navigating the parking situation can be an adventure in itself - not for the faint of heart. Be prepared for sizeable crowds, especially on weekends, that can translate to a lengthy hunt for a parking spot.

Here's where the "paradise" factor might take a temporary dip. While SM Mall of Asia offers ample parking, filling up happens fast. Multiple buildings and annexes provide options, but patience might be your best accessory.

The spacious, modern design makes navigating the mall a breeze, Whether you're a Manila resident or exploring the city, SM Mall of Asia promises a day of unforgettable leisure and delightful discoveries. Just be prepared to walk a lot and possibly get lost from your group....lol.

I remember my visit to the Mall of Asia, where I was blown away by its breathtaking view of the sunset at the Manila Bay. The sun, slowly setting on the horizon, created a mesmerizing blend of colors in the sky that left me awestruck.

Apart from the view, the Mall of Asia itself was quite impressive. The sheer size of the mall was overwhelming, and it would take you a day to see the entire place. The mall had everything one could ask for, with an abundance of restaurants and shops selling a wide variety of products and services. I remember strolling through the mall, and I was amazed by the sheer number of options available to me. From high-end luxury brands to affordable streetwear, there was something for everyone.

The mall was bustling with people, and the atmosphere was electric. There were families with young kids, teenagers hanging out with their friends, and older couples enjoying a leisurely stroll. The mall had a lively vibe to it, and I couldn't help but feel energized by the bustling activity around me.

The mall is MASSIVE (MANILA Philippines)

This is my first time inside the SM Mall of Asia (MOA for short). We actually came here in two back- to-back days to do some final shopping.

I was impressed by the modern, spacious look and the wide aisle space inside. The main mall consists of 4 buildings connected by walkways and pathways! This mall is complete with all the shopping you want, likewise, there's no shortage of restaurants and food places. If you want entertainment, they have an IMAX Theater, bowling, an Olympic-sized ice skating rink and a movie theater. The Grand Carousel is a nice feature I do like the business hours, 10:00a to 10:00p.

Lots of people on a Sunday... Filipinos love to shop. Saw some familiar stores: American Eagle Outfitters, Crocs, Dr Martens, Marks Spencer (UK brand), Levi's, H&M, Loccitane, Timberland... just so many!! There are over 600+ stores, okay... my favorite store there was Kultura.

Just a cool place to be... and you know I don't like shopping too much.

One of the biggest malls in the world, and it was absolutely never ending. Apparently it takes two days to see most of it with shops, restaurants, amusement, parks, theaters, and even a gigantic IKEA. We had an absolute blast!

Wow, this review is way overdue. Malls maybe dying a slow death in the US due to everyone working from home and shopping from home but This has to be my most Favorite place to visit in the Philippines for food and shopping.

There are so many pluses, there's just so much under one roof that you can spend a number of days here, just shopping, eating, people watching, then eating some more. Then shop some more and more and many of the buildings are connected so you can walk to Texas Roadhouse or DTF or IKEA, for example. So enjoy the AC and wear your track shoes.

Or go outside and walk to the Ferris wheel and check out the restaurants across the street.

All of your favorite stores are here. Just 15 minutes from NAIA and the casinos and major hotels. This mall has to be larger than Mall of America (Bloomington), if not it sure comes pretty close.

There are arcades for family fun and archery, paint ball, just a bunch of stuff to do. It was hard to keep track of it all.

FYI, the stores can be strict and won't allow you to enter a store with your caramel macchiato. But don't be alarmed, I was able to tame my inner Karen.

If you are in Manila, I highly recommend checking out SM MOA. I've been here so many times, the very first time was back in 2006 during my first trip to The Philippines. It's grown so much since then. This is the largest shopping mall in the country, one of the largest in all of Asia. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, rather showing this place to friends who have never been to Manila to see how extreme everything is here.

Ultimately the goal was to browse for about 1 1/2 hours. That was not really accomplished, finding out much of this place has expanded, there were plenty of people on a Sunday afternoon. You just can't see every corner, floor, people can spend hours just window shopping.

My last visit was prepandemic, I recall the Ice Skating Rink was in the center of the GF, now it's moved to 3F across a new Food Hall!

Located in Pasay City, near the Bay of Manila, with many surrounding hotels, condominium developments, an amusement park, and many more. The City Capital of Manila has so much growth in the past few years that it's still building!

Minutes away from NAIA Airport, you can easily access via car, ride-share, but I don't believe the MRT has access directly to SM MOA.

If you frequent here on business, pleasure, and really want to enjoy some down time. It's a great place to mingle with your work colleagues, meet up with friends/family, or just enjoy good food. It's definitely someplace different than your typical Western style mall scene.

There are great bars, restaurants, theaters, clothing stores, medical clinics, etc. This area is also extremely popular for corporations, organizations and large concerts to visit the MOA Arena and Convention Center.

You can achieve your daily minimum steps when visiting SM Mall of Asia. World Atlas ranked MOA as the 5th largest mall in Asia. This shopping mall is very busy especially on weekends so pack your patience with you. There are so many restaurants to choose from and other fun activities to do (bowling, ice skating, arcade games, etc) with your loved ones.

This mall is a huge (and I mean HUGE) disappointment. There are no directories, it's hard to find a place to sit, and there are so many people everywhere that it's overwhelming.

I really wanted to explore, but I just didn't know where to begin. There were so many buildings, and there was no guidance for tourists or newbies. We wound up just going to Rico's the two times we attempted the mall, and then... just went home again.

There should be some maps at least. Maybe they could offer scooter rentals, or a tour guide to help out. I don't know. It's difficult to enjoy this place.

The SM Mall of Asia in the Philippines is probably one of the largest mall in Southeast Asia, close to Manila Airport. It's well-known for its impressive size and beautiful waterfront. Both locals and tourists enjoy it for various events. But Navigating MOA involves A LOT of walking due to its horizontal layout. Personally, I find SM Mega Mall in Mandaluyong City better because it's easier to get from Point A to Point B with elevators and escalators. Mega Mall also offers more shops and restaurants than MOA. I got tired from too much walking and got lost in MOA's vastness, which is why I prefer Mega Mall for its easier navigation. But If you don't mind walking a lot, then MOA may be the perfect place for you. It offers a unique experience with its expansive layout.
