White Plumerias

 

One of the common flowers you’ll find in tropical places like Philippines is the Plumeria or what we call in our dialect as kalachuchi.

Some of this kind grow as small trees and some as shrubs but there’s not much difference in the flowers, except when they are from a different variety which comes in different colors.

The plainliness of its petals look so clean and pleasing but when you actually try to snap a part of it, it’s pretty sappy.

As I was looking this up, I found something interesting…

It is said that in Hawaiian culture, when you see a lady wearing this flower on her right ear, it means that she is available and when it’s on her left ear, that means she is taken. So, if you ever visit Hawaii or have visited that cool place, let me know if this does apply!
