Megan Fox is getting "honest" about her relationship with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

On the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Jennifer's Body actress, now 37, reflected on her past relationship with Green, now 50.

Fox and the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum met in 2004 while filming the sitcom Hope & Faith. They began dating shortly after, got married in 2010, and now share three kids.

"First of all, let me just say, I was not a great girlfriend to Brian. I'll be very honest," Fox said on the podcast, adding, "And he was not great to me either all the time, but I think it would be easy for me to lean into and complain about or let it seem like that relationship was one way. Maybe I was not great."

"Because I was young and really should not have been in a relationship of that level of commitment and magnitude," said Fox. "I shouldn't have been involved in that when I was 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23; I shouldn't have been."

Fox recalled she "did a lot of, like, falling in love with other people all the time."

"I would go to work and fall in love because I was a kid. And, yeah, I never had the full freedom to be single and experience that life, and I thought for a minute when I got divorced that that's what I was gonna do, and I was single for like three weeks," she added.

The actress filed for divorce (for a second time) in 2020, and is now engaged to Machine Gun Kelly. Green is engaged to Sharna Burgess, with whom he shares a child.

Also during the podcast appearance, Fox recalled meeting MGK, 33, on the set of their movie Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020. They got engaged in January 2022.

"We were doing a scene and I had seen his picture before he showed up and I knew just from his picture, I was like 'I recognize that person,' and I looked into his eyes and I was like, 'Oh yeah, it's you, I've known you for thousands of years,' " said Fox.

"We were in a situation where it wasn't really about one person coming up to the other," she added. "He's very shy, and he'll tell you he's very awkward as well, so he's not somebody who picks up girls. He's just gorgeous and a famous musician, so he gets them easily. But if he was not famous, he would be struggling because he's not good at that. He isn't. He's a brilliant musician — he's not good at picking up girls."

Back in November, Fox said on The Drew Barrymore Show, "When I was young, I was really rebellious and wild and was always running away to fall in love with a new love, every costar."

"I was addicted to falling in love, and I think I probably hurt a lot of people in that process too, because a lot of people have been in love with me and I did not respect or honor that," she said at the time.
