This Pretty Necklace Is A K-Drama Favorite

There’s no denying that aside from the lead actors and the addicting storyline, we are hooked on observing all the fashion worn on the dramas. Perfectly put together outfits, sparkly jewelry, and the fancy shoes and bags—they’re all part of what makes us glued to our screens.

One shiny piece of jewelry that caught our attention is the necklace worn by Ko Mun-yeoung played by our new girl crush Seo Yeo Ji in the recently concluded It’s Okay Not To Be Okay. In the “morning after” scene, we can’t help but notice her whole look, which includes a pretty necklace we’ve definitely seen before. Donning a pretty floral off-shoulder dress, the Tiffany T Smile Pendant Necklace sure stands out on the always perfect Ko Mun-young.

After seeing the necklace in the finale, it reminded us of its appearance on another K-Drama: Itaewon Class. Who can forget that cute scene between Jo Yi-seo and Park Sae-ro-yi played by Kim Da-mi and Park Seo-joon respectively where he catches her online shopping in his office. She cutely asks him to buy her the pretty necklace she was pointing on the screen. Fast forward to when Jo Yi-seo is hospitalized for working too much, she discovers the iconic Tiffany blue paper bag with the Tiffany T Smile Pendant Necklace in Rose Gold with diamonds inside on her bedside table (slick move, Park Sae-ro-yi!). She wears it immediately and hearts are fluttering everywhere.

Testing our K-Drama knowledge, we recall seeing the necklace in two more K-Dramas that coincidentally Park Seo-joon both appeared in as the male lead—What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and She Was Pretty. In one of the many kilig scenes in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, we see Kim Mi-so wearing the Tiffany T Smile Necklace and Lee Young-joon chatting and having a drink on his sofa and fans who’ve watched the show know what happens next! Just the name of the pendant totally suits Mi-so, as mi so directly translates to “smile” in english.

In She Was Pretty, Kim Hye-jin played by Hwang Jung-eum dons the sparkly piece to compliment her pearl earrings and adorn her neck while wearing a printed button-down during a The Most staff meeting trying to come up with prospects and solutions on to regain the top spot to prevent thit magazine from closing. She may have undergone a total makeover before returning to The Most but Kim Hye-jin keeps her style simple and minimalistic with the Tiffany T Smile Pendant necklace.
