Eyelash extensions are a great alternative to the hassle of wearing mascara or applying falsies every day. Think of how much time you will save in the morning and when washing up for bed at night. This service makes your lashes instantly look longer and fuller, and each new set lasts for about six to eight weeks. 

Application is a simple process that requires no downtime, and they require minimal maintenance to keep them looking nice. If a semi-permanent lash falls out before your next full-set appointment, you can request a touch-up service to fill in specific areas so they continue looking gorgeous.

When you arrive to your appointment, we ask that you do not wear any makeup so there’s nothing in the way of achieving the best results. Before starting the application process, your tech will discuss the look you’re aiming for. Do you want a subtle boost, a more glamorous appearance, or to add as much volume as possible? Your desired look will help determine which type of eyelash set is right for you. We’ll also examine your current lashes to make sure we don’t add new ones that are going to be too big or too long for your real ones.   

Once we have chosen the right set, we will cleanse the eye area and gently tape your lower lashes down to keep them out of the way. We then attach semipermanent eyelash extensions to your natural ones using adhesive. Depending on the set you’ve chosen, we may attach a single new lash to a single natural lash, or attach a fan to a single natural lash.

At your appointment, we will also discuss the best way to take care of your new eyelash extensions so they continue looking great and last as long as possible. They fall out over time, so we’ll also discuss when you’ll want to come back for a touch-up versus a new full set.

Avoid taking a shower or washing your face for 24 hours following your appointment to ensure the glue has fully dried. It’s also helpful to avoid putting oil-based products near your eyes, as oil can break down the glue. 

Use a spoolie to gently brush your eyelash extensions and separate any that have clumped together. Try not to tug at your new eyelash set or rub them, as friction can cause them to break. Be gentle when using eye makeup remover. Additionally, consider skipping the mascara, as it can cause clumps and lead to friction when trying to remove the mascara.

Cleaning your eyelash extensions is important, but be sure to use cleansers designed specifically for this purpose to ensure there aren’t ingredients that will break down the adhesive.
