Extremely urgent breaking news: Megan Fox appears to have set a new personal ponytail record. The pony, which sat sky-high at the crown of her head, just might be the actor's longest one yet.
Fox stepped out in Los Angeles with Machine Gun Kelly on December 19 with her hair parted down the middle and her faux ponytail draping down the right side of her shoulder. Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos gave the ponytail some animation with one equally long strand of hair parted loose at the hairline to frame the left side of her face.
Giannetos highlighted all the sleek details of the look in an Instagram clip and while Fox has yet to tell us which character inspired the style, her fans flooded the comments with comparisons. "It's giving Carla Santini vibes," one said, referencing the actor's role in the 2004 classic Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. (Coincidentally, her costar in the film, Lindsay Lohan, also had a big beauty moment this week.)
Fox's edgy coiffure was in cahoots with the pink platform pumps, feathered cardigan, and metallic Danielle Guizio paillette skirt that coordinated for the Bratz-esque look. Makeup artist Jenna Kristina topped it all off with a nude lip, cat-eye faux lashes, and specs of shimmer on the eyelids.
Fox may have channeled a Y2K prom queen the last time we saw her out with an updo, but now she's got us mentally shuffling through our collection of childhood dolls to determine which one she could have been aiming to embody.
