Did not function as described product was defective.
Amazon did a great job delivering this product. Arrived in tact with no damage. Was purchased to clean grandmothers VCR that she had given to me to watch old vhs tapes that I had. Assuming the heads would be dirty as it has not been used in some time. Followed directions as described and as other reviews stated it will not allow you to reuse it. Was defective for sure. Played it for 60 seconds in player and stopped. VCR ejected cleaning tape. Cleaning tape did seem to have some dust accumulated on tape. Decided I should reuse it a couple times as stated it could be reused up to 30 times depending on how dirty tape gets. Inserted tape back into VCR and the player turned off. Turned player back on and hit rewind. Turns off again. Turn it on and eject. Turns off before ejecting. Turn it back on, hit eject again and then it finally ejects. Same process trying to play it. Tape is presumably stuck and could not rewind manually either. Mine was definitely defective. Placed a replacement order. We will see if the replacement has the same result. Will update after replacement arrives. I give it two stars as of now because it seems it does clean it however was not usable more than once as described.

Bought the wet and the dry version of this product. Both of them had about 2 seconds of cleaner tape in them. So when I tried to run it for the 30 seconds that they said, it just ran and then stopped and reversed. So there was not enough of the cleaner tape to run. This was true of both units. The media that was cleaning did get some dirt on it, but would not run the length needed to fully clean the VCR. In my opinion this product is not worth the time or trouble or cost. (also, the first time I put the tape in it got caught up in the mechanism.)
