This was supposed to be the MyGica A681 pictured in the advertisement picture. I had recieved the wrong model. I got The A681B instead. Kinda disappointed because it wasnt compatible with my Formular Z8 Pro STB. So no terrestrial option which means no OTA on MyOnlineTv 2 app which is why i had bought this Tuner. Bummer.. Works well on my STB with Padtv HD Though. Just a pain to be using seperate apps

I ordered this yesterday and got it today from Amazon. It took me about 20 minutes to download AND install all the files (Drivers, Manual and Basic Software). I live in Phoenix metro. I ran a scan with the mini antenna and got about 38 channels and was able to connect to and view several channels on my HP laptop. Reception was OK for the really local channels and less clear from more remote channels, which makes sense. I then hooked up an RCA indoor antenna and ran the scan again. This time I got 90+ plus channels and the rection when viewing the telecasts was a bit better. Be advised that not all the Channels returned on the scan will be viewable..,. may be due to distance or something else. A warning to the males with females in the household, it appeared that all the QVC channels came in just fine. I will be testing the product in the outdoor camping environment next month and will provide an update on the product once I return. .

Ok when you get this thing you're like no way this gonna work I was kinda skeptical.

Then next thing you know works 100% I first tested it on my Samsung tablet using a USB c to usb connector using the app padtv HD it worked flawless. I then repeated the test on my Samsung s21 ultra phone worked amazingly.

Now the true test why I bought it I have a aftermarket off brand android car radio an I wanted to have a way to watch news in a emergency or just when Taking a break I plugged it in to the USB on back of radio zip tied the antenna to the roof downloaded the app yep I was in business got even better results an more channels. I personally believe it has even more potential I ordered a outdoor high gain antenna I can't wait to see the results...

I have tried to make this product work on a android google tv 12 box (made by onn) without luck. The appropriate apps are not available for that OS, and using alternative app stores does not help. The dongle simply will not work.
The driver for Linux will not build. Maybe it will do if you use the specific kernel MyGica used to test its build, but it will not on a 5.15.
On Windows you will have to reduce your system protection in order to install the ancient driver. I did, and now I know my dongle does not have hardware iissues. Removing the driver is not possible without finding out its published name and forcing its removal.
Overall a truly disappointing experience. Some people reported successful installs, but they are one system upgrade away from experiencing what I went through. MyGica is completely unresponsive to any requests for assistance, check their support forum for confirmation.
By buying this device you'd be subsidizing a company that fundamentally does not care for its customers
