Great little reader
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in a trip to Chicago and needed an SD card reader for my Chromebook. This fit the bill! It worked perfectly with a decent transfer rate. If you need a card reader with USB-C connectivity, do not pass this one up.

Easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple. Easy to understand directions and easily able to accomplish. Uploaded all my photos and videos off my GoPros sandisk card right onto my phone.

Great Product-Just be sure it will fit your device
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card reader is fast and simple to use. It's appearance is sleek and the size is perfect for me. The only issue I had ( and it was my fault ), was the USB C would not fit my laptop USB port and I had to order an adapter. It's a good product and I would recommend it to anyone.

Works Great
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what it needs to! Purchased a second one as backup. I really hate that Apple didn’t add an SD card slot into a computer most professional photographers/creators use but this is a cheap fix for their stupidity. Be sure to “eject” before removing cards. The dongle can stay inserted when swapping cards, you just won’t see it listed on your desktop until the next card is inserted. Perfect size and easy to store/transport.

Handy Add-on Reader
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With technology moving so swiftly it's hard to keep up. I was very happy to find this product to add to my upgraded pc. I oftentimes need to upload photos from a memory card and with no place to insert a memory card into the pc I'm at a loss. Now with this handy add-on I'm able to get it done. It's easy to use and works the same as if I'd popped the card directly into the pc.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several trail cams, most with SD cards but one with a micro-SD card, and I needed this to review the camera setup and review captured images on-site. The USB-C connection allows for much faster transfer on my Google Pixel 3 than with my old micro-USB. I'm able to transfer 200 photos to my camera in a matter of a few seconds.

Lightweight. Compact. Fast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent choice if you need a fast and reliable card reader on the go. It’s the latest USB-C type plug so it works on my MacBook Pro without needing any other connectors or adaptors. Fits SD and MicroSD cards. Easy plug and play right out of the box. I use it to transfer 4K footage from my cameras and Drone all of the time. Super fast and has been very reliable so far. Good value for the price. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Solid Performer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a memory card reader for a laptop that doesn't have one. Performs as expected and is very quick as it is USB-C. Only gave 43 stars just because I think it's a little expensive for a card reader compared to "regular" USB adaptors.

Q: QuestionHow do read sd card in my Moto Android phone
Asked by Charlie.
- A:Answer Hi, Charlie. Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us. To read and transfer files on Android devices you require to download a file reader/explorer from the Google Play Store. I recommend to use ES File Explorer. Alexander G. - Insignia Support

Q: QuestionI see there is a sd card slot and a micro sd slot. can you transfer data from the SD card to the micro card? or do I have to transfer from card to computer to the other card? i am interested in skipping the process of putting it on my pc.
Asked by mayb.
- A:Answer This memory card reader can only read or write on one card at a time. Transfer from card to computer, then from the computer to the other card.

Q: QuestionI am not very tech savvy and I wondered if this will work on an android or an iphone?
Asked by Gutter.
- A:Answer To correct a previous answer, no—you cannot use this on an iPhone. The iPhone uses a proprietary port Apple created called a Lightning port. You'd need something more along the lines of a Lightning to SD card adapter, which Apple creates and Best Buy sells. This adapter is for devices that utilize USB-C, which no iPhone currently does (as of the iPhone 11 series; 12 could be different). Regarding Android, that's technically software, and what you're really asking is if the actual phone can handle it, which is going to be different based on every single model made by every single company. The best thing to do would be to figure out the name of your Android device (like a Google Pixel 4 or Samsung Galaxy Note 10), and then ask Google if your specific device supports USB-C. I hope this helps someone out there.

Q: QuestionCan I transfer pics from my phone to this reader? I need to make more room for more!
Asked by immnteresa.
- A:Answer It's not a storage device. It links the SD card from your camera, which is a storage device, to your computer thru a USB type C port.
