If you're Asian, chances are, you were born with stubborn, stick-straight lashes that can't hold a curl no matter what ~amazing~ mascara you use. They just end up drooping down by midday, and it can be frustrating. Luckily, all hope is not lost.
This is where falsies come into play. They give you the illusion of fluttery lashes sans the heavy maintenance that comes with getting extensions. Putting them on, however, can be difficult. "How do you make them look natural?", "How do I place them as close as possible without poking my eye out?", and "F*ck it, I'll just use mascara and call it a day," are all the ~thoughts~ that may go through your head while applying them.
Thankfully, we stumbled upon this life-changing hack from Shonagh Scott which shows the easiest way to apply your false eyelashes. Seriously, you won't dread putting them on anymore once you've watched her simple trick.
According to Shonagh, instead of trying to place the entire strip of false lash in one go, cut it up into three pieces. This will make the application (and your life) a lot easier! Then, after placing each segment on top of your natural lashes, push each strip down to ~blend~ with your real eyelashes. Voila! Hello, flirty-looking peepers!
