The cleaner arrived quickly despite the Christmas confusion. Tried it on my DVD player which would no longer recognize a disc...............didn't make any difference, so something major wrong inside I guess. Tried it on my CD player and a combination of using the cleaning disc, and using the cleaner fluid on the actual CD has certainly improved it (no more skipping). My CD Player in my Hi-Fi system wasn't playing CDs very well at all. It would skip parts of tracks on songs and keep jumping back within the tracks at times... I'm sure you get the idea. Well, was I going to take the unit apart to see if I could see what the problem might be, or spend just a little bit of money to see if cleaning the lens would do the trick. This CD Cleaner is dead easy to use. Gives audio instructions as to what you should do. Now my CD player works just fine. Just a heads up. Remove the cap on the tube of lens cleaner! This sounds ridiculous but I attempted to put a hole in it because I didn't realise it screwed off. Yes, I am this stupid!

Good value - remove nodule
Good product. Watch the application of the cleanser on to the disk. There is a very small nodule on the end of the tube which should be removed. If you don't & squeeze too hard, the fluid will squirt too much fluid over the disk.
