Cristine Reyes opens up about health challenges, goes on a healing retreat to Palawan
Cristine Reyes is taking a proactive approach to her holistic wellness.
On Instagram, the 34-year-old mother of one shared that she recently went on a healing retreat at Hiraya Wellness in Palawan as a birthday gift for herself.
In the reel she complemented her lengthy caption with, Cristine is seen dancing, meditating, and journaling inside a beautiful villa.
“This retreat has provided me with the opportunity to contemplate on my past, my passion for dance, and my passion for writing,” she said.
“In this peaceful haven, I have come to realize that the challenges I faced, such as my disc bulge, Alopecia areata, emergency delivery, Meningitis, and early detection of cancerous cells, all stemmed from emotional stress,” she added.
Cristine also opened up about how she has struggled to find a “safe space.”
“However, I have now overcome these obstacles and found myself dancing, writing, and smiling once again,” she said.
“This healing retreat not only helped me gain mental clarity but also replenished my energy,” she added.
Cristine ended her post by saying her wellness trip to Palawan was an “incredible birthday gift.” She is set to celebrate her 35th birthday on Monday.
“I am now growing closer to my creator and finding comfort in His guidance,” she said.
“I feel secure and nurtured, as I strongly believe that the universe is supporting me along my journey,” she ended.
According to Hiraya Wellness’ website, the 6-day mental wellness nature retreat that Cristine experienced costs around P320,000 to 432,000.
Last week, Cristine announced in a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” episode that she was annulled from Ali Khatibi for over a year. They got married in 2016 and have a daughter named Amarah.
