Anne Curtis touched by Regine Velasquez's kind words on her singing: 'Naiiyak ako'

Anne Curtis was touched by Regine Velasquez's comments regarding her improvement in singing.

On X (formerly Twitter), the "It's Showtime" host shared a clip of a morning show where the Asia's Songbird complimented her hard work in improving her vocals.

“Tignan mo si Anne, ‘di ba dati, tawang tawa lang tayo, kasi bakit tayo natatawa sa kanya? Kasi wala siya sa tono eh,” Regine said.

“Pero actually ngayon, nasa tono na siya. Gumaling na nga siya eh, kasi pinagpursigihan niya,” she added. “And she actually loves it, she likes it.”

In her post, Anne credited her voice lessons with Kitchie Molina for improving her singing skills.

“Wait lang madam Regine, naiiyak ako,” Anne wrote. "Thank you so much."

“Nakahelp din talaga ang voice lessons ko with miss Kitchie Molina,” she added. “Thank you for your kind words.”

Last month, Anne was featured in a London-based magazine Perfect, alongside international fashion icons Kate Moss, Bella Hadid, and Linda Evangelista.

In December, Anne shared a funny message to OFWs who want to return to the Philippines for her birthday on February 17. It was in reference to a short clip of "It's Showtime" that recently resurfaced on social media.

Anne is married to food content creator Erwann Heussaff, and they have a daughter named Dahlia.
