Time and again, Regine Velasquez addresses the age-old rumor claiming she underwent plastic surgery.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press on January 24, after the photo shoot for Reigne, her make-up collection with BYS Philippines, she says, "Thank god na contrary to what others believe that I've already fixed my face, 17 pa lang ako nagpa-face lift na daw ako, I haven't done anything to my face. Nothing yet."
Save for the non-invasive treatments she has so far tried to maintain her youthful glow, the 49-year-old star swears by a foolproof skin-care routine.
Regine continues, "Although sa Belo, yung mga RF and Thermage, I do that and it's a big help. But I think one of the most important thing talaga na you can do is yung daily regimen mo talaga."
The treatments she mentions are both non-invasive, and help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and tighten loose and sagging skin.
But don't get her wrong, she's not passing judgment on people who went under the knife.
The wife of Ogie Alcasid said, "I'm not against it. I'm not against any, anong tawag sa ganyan, rhinoplasty—parang rhinoceros ang dating sa akin di ba—nose job na lang, di ba?"
Turning more serious, she continues, "Any plastic surgery, I'm not against.
"If it makes you feel better. If it will boost you confidence—kailangan natin yun, e—okay lang yun! No problem."
