Pia Wurtzbach, Heart Evangelista generate total media value worth PHP505.8M at Milan Fashion Week 2024

They rank 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and GMA-7 actress/fashionista Heart Evangelista are establishing a prominent presence in the fashion industry.

The two Pinay celebrities are among the personalities who generated the highest Media Impact Values (MIV) during Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024, which ran from February 20, 2024 to February 26, 2026, in Italy.

MIV is an algorithm developed by Launchmetrics, an influence analytics company, that "analyses quantitative and qualitative data...that measure the impact of brand placements and mentions across different communication channels in the fashion, luxury, and beauty industry."

The report was released by Women's Wear Daily, a fashion-industry trade journal under the global mass media company Condé Nast.

Pia ranked second on the celebrity list generating a staggering MIV of USD5.4 million (approximately PHP303.5 million).

Meanwhile, Heart wasn't far behind at third spot, amassing MIV worth USD3.6 million (about PHP202.3 million).

Emerging as the ultimate champion of Milan Fashion Week in terms of celebrity influence was the South Korean boy band NCT, which collectively generated an impressive USD6.2 million (PHP348 million) worth of MIV.

Individually, its members Jaehyun, Jeno, and Doyoung also raked in notable MIV numbers—USD1.3 million (PHP73 million), USD1.1 million (PHP61.8 million), and USD903,000 (PHP50.7 million), respectively.

Japanese group Niziu and South Korean singer Joy concluded the celebrity ranking, with each garnering USD1.9 million (PHP106.8 million) in MIV.

This is the second celebrity list that includes Pia.

Pia claimed the sixth position on the "Most Visible Influencer" list published by Lefty.io, an influencer marketing platform affiliated with The Independents Group.

According to their findings, Pia has accumulated an impressive Earned Media Value (EMV) of USD2.95 million (or PHP166.9 million).

Meanwhile, Heart's media impact at every fashion week she attends has steadily grown over time.

In 2023, according to Envi's report, she produced USD1.4 million in MIV at Milan Fashion Week in September, and based on Women's Wear Daily's report, she amassed $1.27 million worth of MIV at Paris Haute Couture Week in July.
