These Filipina beauty queens won not just one, but two national crowns.

The Philippines has emerged as a dominant force in beauty pageants, consistently producing remarkable beauty queens.

Among these remarkable individuals, there are a few who have achieved an extraordinary milestone: winning not just one, but two national crowns.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) compiles a list of exceptional Filipino beauty queens who made an indelible mark in the country's pageant history.

CARLENE AGUILAR

Carlene Aguilar is the first Filipino beauty queen to secure two major pageant titles.

Her journey began in 2001 when she clinched the title of Miss Philippines Earth. In the same year, Carlene represented her country at Miss Earth 2001, where she achieved a commendable Top 10 placement.

After four years, she made a triumphant return to the pageant scene, this time joining Binibining Pilipinas 2005 and emerging victorious as Binibining Pilipinas-World 2005.

Carlene's remarkable pageant career continued as she represented the Philippines at Miss World 2005 in Iceland, where she achieved a notable Top 15 placement.

Catriona Gray proudly represented the Philippines in two prestigious pageants.

She first captured the title of Miss World Philippines 2016 on October 2, 2016, and went on to achieve a commendable Top 5 placement in the global Miss World competition.

Continuing her pageant journey, Catriona was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant on March 18, 2018, taking over the title from Rachel Peters.

In December 2018, Catriona once again captured the attention of the world—the universe, rather—as she participated in the highly anticipated 67th Miss Universe competition held in Thailand.

Catriona claimed the coveted title, succeeding Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters from South Africa and etching her name in the history of Miss Universe.

MAUREEN MONTAGNE

In 2018, Maureen Montagne joined the Miss World Philippines pageant where she emerged victorious as Miss Eco Philippines 2018.

Representing the Philippines, she then competed in the Miss Eco International 2019 pageant held in Cairo, Egypt.

Maureen secured the first runner-up position in the pageant, with Miss Peru's Suheyn Cipriani taking the title.

However, Suheyn was later dethroned due to pregnancy. As the first runner-up, Maureen was automatically entitled to the crown. Gracefully considering her commitments to the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 pageant, Maureen declined the offer to assume the crown.

Maureen clinched the title of Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021, earning the opportunity to represent the Philippines in The Miss Globe 2021 pageant.

In November 2021, Maureen triumphed as the winner of The Miss Globe 2021 pageant held in Tirana, Albania.

CELESTE CORTESI

On May 19, 2018, Celeste Cortesi received the crown of Miss Philippines Earth 2018 from outgoing titleholder Karen Ibasco.

Celeste went on to represent the Philippines at the prestigious Miss Earth 2018 pageant, where she showcased her beauty and talent. Her remarkable journey led her to secure a position as a Top 8 finalist in the competition.

Ultimately, Nguyen Phuong Khanh of Vietnam emerged as the winner of the Miss Earth 2018 pageant.

Later, on April 30, 2022, she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines.

Representing her country at the 71st edition of the Miss Universe competition, Celeste unfortunately did not place, marking the end of the Philippines' impressive twelve-year streak of consecutive placements in Miss Universe from 2010 through 2021.

The title of Miss Universe was won by R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States.

MICHELLE DEE

Michelle Dee, following in the footsteps of her mother Melanie Marquez, made her mark in the world of pageantry by winning the title of Miss World Philippines in 2019.

She proudly represented the Philippines in the prestigious Miss World pageant held in London, England, where she achieved an impressive Top 12 placement.

Michelle continued her journey in pageantry by being crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023, earning the opportunity to represent the Philippines at the upcoming Miss Universe 2023 competition in El Salvador.

KATARINA RODRIGUEZ

Katarina Rodriguez triumphed in the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant, claiming the title of Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017 in a memorable coronation held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on April 30, 2017.

She proudly represented the Philippines at the Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant in Hurghada, Egypt on January 24, 2018, where she achieved an impressive 1st runner-up placement, with Mexico's Veronica Salas Vallejo clinching the crown.

On October 7, 2018, Katarina was crowned Miss World Philippines 2018 by outgoing titleholder Laura Lehmann.

ROBERTA TAMONDONG

Roberta Tamondong was appointed by the Miss World Philippines organization as the representative for the Miss Eco Teen International pageant, as announced on November 18, 2020.

On December 5, 2020, she proudly represented the Philippines at the Miss Eco Teen International held in Hurghada, Egypt, and made history by becoming the first Filipino to win the prestigious title.

In a thrilling return, she captivated Filipino pageant fans as she competed in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant in 2022. She was eventually crowned Binibining Pilipinas Grand International in July.

Her victory carries a significant milestone as she becomes the final beauty queen from Binibining Pilipinas to secure the prestigious title. Arnold Vegafria, the national director of Miss World Philippines, has assumed the franchise for Miss Grand International Philippines.

Roberta proudly represented the Philippines at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant held in Jakarta, Indonesia on October 25, 2022, where she advanced as a Top 20 semifinalist.

Following Yuvna Rinishta's resignation, on October 30, 2022, Roberta was appointed as one of the 5th Runners-Up of Miss Grand International 2022.

Christi Lynn McGarry etched her name in history as the first Filipina to represent the country twice in the same international pageant.

Initially crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific in 2010, she later replaced Janina Lizardo as the Philippine representative for Miss Intercontinental 2010.

Displaying her remarkable grace and elegance, she advanced to the top 15 and earned the prestigious title of Miss Intercontinental Continental Queen of Asia and the Pacific.

Continuing her pageant journey, Christi claimed the Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental title in 2015, granting her the opportunity to compete once again in the prestigious Miss Intercontinental pageant.

Ultimately, she secured the impressive title of 1st Runner-up and once again received the honor of being named Miss Intercontinental Continental Queen of Asia and Oceania at the pageant.
