Sprucing up the Christmas tree is one of the first things homeowners do to welcome the Christmas season at home. Every year, many homeowners work on different themes to liven up their spaces. Some maximize the accessories they have and there are those who shop for new pieces to update the look they have in mind. Whether you’re looking for pegs or you’re curious as to how the stars decorated their spaces this year, here are seven that we love best:
Christine Bersola-Babao
Well-lit and decorated with classic Christmas balls in gold and red, the Babaos’ Christmas tree features captivating lights, candy canes, and well-loved characters from Sesame Street as part of the setup. We love how real and natural the tree looks like, too!
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid
With the help of event stylist and wedding florist Badang Rueda, the Alcasids were able to achieve a stunning Christmas tree decorated with white blooms, pinecones, different flowers, and big Christmas balls in gold. Perhaps to make it more fun and memorable for Nate, they added a train set underneath as a finishing and playful touch.
Dawn Zulueta
In prepping their home for the holidays, actress Dawn Zulueta decorated the Christmas tree with mismatched Christmas balls, lovely miniature dolls, and dog figurines. “You can tell we really like #dogs.. some cats & most people,” she shares on Instagram. A huge beaded ribbon completes the look of the elegant Christmas tree.
Jinkee Pacquiao
As early as November, Jinkee already shared a sneak peek of their home's decor on Instagram. From a short clip, we were able to see that she chose sweet and pastel colors in personalizing the Christmas tree in their Forbes Park home.
The final look of the floor-to-ceiling tree features flowers, ribbons in pink and coral, hanging spiral accessories, beaded pieces, and the best part—white swans!
Korina Sanchez-Roxas
Korina decided to recycle last year’s décor as seen on her post on Instagram. The tree has green Christmas balls, wrapped balls in patterned cloth, and recycled décor. She even shared a few tips on how to reuse old accessories—simply get rid of the broken parts then bunch it together to use it as part of the final look.
Heart Evangelista
Heart once again enlisted the help of event stylist Badang Rueda in decorating her home for the holidays. She reused some of her old décor pieces and even shopped for new ones to achieve the festive look she has in mind. Similar to last year’s white-themed Christmas tree, her Christmas tree this year also highlights white accessories with pops of blue as seen on the chosen Christmas balls. See how Heart and Badang decorated the home in the video below:
Scarlet Snow Belo
Always whimsical and charming, Scarlet’s Christmas tree features unicorns, ice cream cones, stars, and a captivating pink glow. While some prefer minimal accessories to showcase the form of the tree, the Belo-Khos opted to go all out with the trimmings, making the tree a must-see!
