Kabocha squash is a winter squash used for soups, stews or grilled. This variety has a dry, nutty, and sweet flavor- sweet enough for pies and breads! The skin is thin so you don't need to peel off. Organically and locally grown.

Pro-tip: Stew this in coconut milk and a favorite broth (veggie, chicken, etc), add strips of ginger, crushed garlic, and fish sauce (optional) to taste! Kalabasa is rich in protein too, so a plus!
