Lara Quigaman recalls marrying Marco Alcaraz after a year of dating on 12th wedding anniv

Guess it’s safe to say that Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz are believers of “when you know, you know.”

Sharing a photo of them looking like a power couple on Instagram, Lara recalled how they ended up tying the knot after just one year of dating. 

It was simple, she said. Quoting “When Harry Met Sally,” they answered: “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

“[Twelve] years married to this hottie today,” she wrote in the caption. “[Twelve years later, with [three] kids, a belly full of excess skin and stretch marks, I still feel the same.”

“Happy 12th wedding anniversary,” she added, tagging Marco. “I love you, asawa ko. Habambuhay.”

Previously, Lara made a statement on equality, saying a happy life isn’t just composed of a happy wife. Instead, it should be “happy spouse, happy house.”

Lara and Marco tied the knot in a civil wedding in 2011 and a Christian wedding in 2012. They have three sons together: Noah, Tobin, and Momo. — LA, GMA Integrated News
