Lara Quigaman and her husband Marco Alcaraz, are never shy to show their affection and appreciation not only for each other, but also for their three sons Noah, Tobin, and Moses.

The couple often post photos of them, either solo or together, and always with something to say about their relationship, whether funny, heartwarning, or mushy. Thus they use the hashtag #asawatips in the hope of sharing useful pieces of marital advice.

While currently traveling abroad, Lara and Marco make it a point to have their photos taken at famous landmarks, notably the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy.

Lara's caption for their Burj Khalifa photo: "I feel like I can conquer the world with one hand when you are holding the other. Also I feel like I don't have to bring money when you are with me. Love you my yummy sugar daddy @marcoalcaraz. Thank you for this trip."

For their Leaning Tower of Pisa photo: "They say it's better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times.. but to see it with you is definitely better than a thousand other things. I love you my glucose guardian @marcoalcaraz."

The couple also have snaps of their activities while touring Hungary, such as kissing in Kistelek town; shopping and food tripping around Budapest city; and checking out the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial along the Danube River.

Clapback to those who wish ill to marriages

Lara's caption for their Danube photo post takes on a serious tone. She begins by sharing a comment, saying: "Hintay lang kayo, next year, hiwalay na din kayo."

That comment, says the beauty queen-turned-actress, came from one of her previous posts in Facebook, in which she shared some of her asawa tips.

She goes on explaning: "Recently, ang daming balita ng hiwalayan, away, etc. Nakakalungkot, pero mas nakakalungkot na maraming tao are making memes and jokes out of it and what's worse, others pa are waiting for other relationships to fail!"

One of the most recent breakup news involved singer Moira dela Torre and her husband Jason Marvin, who happened to be crying during their 2019 wedding's bridal march.

Lara then recalls her own trip to the altar: "Marco cried on both of our weddings, sa unang kasal pa nga namin sa Vancouver, humagulgol siya... does that mean- maghihiwalay kami dahil lang umiyak ang asawa ko sa kasal namin? And are some people really waiting and hoping for that to happen?"

She adds, "Marriage is not easy. Marco and I have been married for almost 12 years- but we always pray and ask God to cover our relationship, we pray that we will never be complacent and think we are alright when we are not.

"We are not perfect and we know that there will be temptations and challenges all the time and we can only rely on God's grace to keep us from falling and failing..."

She then leaves a message: "For those who are going through challenges in their married life- God is gracious, give your frustrations and heartaches to Him. Nothing is too broken for Him to restore and make whole again, nothing too impossible for Him to fix... seek Him, cry out to Him. He answers... I am praying with you tonight."

Lara ends her post by describing the place where she and Marco have their photos taken: "The shoes in the Danube riverbank is a memorial for the Jews who were shot and whose bodies were thrown into the river."

And gives her own personal take on its meaning: "Seeing the shoes made it easier to imagine what those people went through and I can only pray it never happens to anyone again...

"With all these news of loss and break-ups, let us be kinder, let us put ourselves in their shoes and imagine what it would be like- if people made a joke out of our heartache?"
